Pension Lindbichler

The original Lindbichler family hotel continues to be owned by the Lindbichler family. In the winter of 2016/2017, we began renting and initially operated only during the winter season. Starting from the winter of 2019/2020, we are also open during the summer season and have been operating as Lindbichler Guesthouse since then.

The guesthouse is located 2 km from the centre of Vorderstoder, below the “Tamberggipfel” with a beautiful view of the entire panorama of the “Totes Gebirge”, the Hinterstoder ski area, and the distant “Sensengebirge”.

Right next to the guesthouse, there is a large garden with a playground for children, football goals, a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from June to August), and outdoor seating.

The guesthouse's garden borders the grazing area for charming alpacas.

Thanks to its location, our house is the ideal starting point for numerous mountain and bike tours with significant elevation differences and is about halfway between Hinterstoder and Windischgarsten.

The romantic “Schiederweiher” in Hinterstoder, awarded the most beautiful place in all of Austria in 2018, is approximately 8 km from the guesthouse.

Accommodation

Use our family pension as a starting point for your experiences.

The accommodation is spread across two buildings - the main building, which houses most of the rooms, the dining room, the bar, the reception, the sauna, the children's corner, and more; and the annex, about 70 m away, where 2 apartments with magnificent views are located.

Facilities of the Accommodation

The accommodation features a spacious dining room where breakfast and dinner are served. It also serves as a common room for socializing with the opportunity to purchase refreshments such as draft beer or raspberry juice.

A sauna for 4-7 persons is available for a fee. Wi-Fi is free in the common areas of the guesthouse. For children, there is also a playroom.

Guests can play table tennis or use a tennis court in the outdoor areas.

The distance to the Hinterstoder ski area is approximately 7 km, and to the Wurzeralm, it is 20 km.

Rooms and their Facilities

The rooms and their facilities are spacious, offering guests a pleasant stay.

The rooms have private toilets and showers or, in some cases, a bathtub, a hairdryer, SAT-TV, and mostly a balcony.

The apartments additionally have a kitchen with a hotplate, kettle, and refrigerator.

Rooms for 2-3 persons

This rooms offer one bedroom with 2-3 beds, a private bathroom with toilet and shower or bathtub, a hairdryer, SAT-TV, and mostly a balcony. The standard sale includes breakfast and the option to purchase dinner.

Rooms for 4-5 persons

This rooms offer two separate bedrooms, one for the parents with a double bed and one for the children with bunk beds and separate beds. Each room has a private bathroom with toilet and shower or bathtub, a hairdryer, SAT-TV, and mostly a balcony.

Apartments for 4 to 6 persons

These apartments offer 2 separate bedrooms, one for the parents with a double bed and one for the children with bunk beds and separate beds. The bathroom has a toilet, and the kitchen has a hotplate, kettle, and refrigerator. Two apartments have a balcony, and two have a balcony with access from the hallway. The standard sale is without meals, with the option to add breakfast and dinner.

Catering

For rooms - The standard sale includes breakfast served as a buffet (with salami, cheese, butter, spreads, yogurt, milk, cereals, bread, pastries, coffee, tea, juice, and water). Dinner can be optionally purchased, either as a 3-course meal or with a choice of two main courses (soup, main course, dessert), a salad buffet, or "à la carte" depending on the date.

For apartments - The standard sale is without meals, with the option to add breakfast and dinner.
